Moodboard of the Week: Safari Elopement

It’s giving golden hour, adventure, organic materials, a touch of vintage, and a day beyond your wildest dreams.

The Looks (from left to right, top to bottom):

1. Swap the typical veil with a chic bridal hat. ($388)

2. This belted lace wedding dress would be stunning with a safari backdrop. ($2,297)

3. These lace-up ankle boots scream vintage safari. ($147)

4. This white shirt dress is a perfect (and easy) piece for pre- or post-wedding adventures! ($161)

5. This is a wild card pick but I feel like the natural lines of this blue dress would be gorgeous for a rehearsal dinner or other more formal bridal event! ($1,680)

6. The perfect bikini for a relaxing afternoon spent poolside. ($225)

7. This zip-front romper is peak safari style and would be great for any safari excursions. ($246)

11. I love how unique this dress is for your legal wedding! I think the lace speaks to the safari theme but the shape is so modern. ($494)

A moment for the shoes:

By special request, this week we will dive specifically into bridal shoes! Below are my fave finds.

• These silver slingbacks are perfect for the cool girl bride or a second look! AND they’re shoes you could actually wear again. ($950)

• These mules are super affordable and gorgeous with a leg slit! ($138) Or these if you prefer pearls.

• Bridal flats are going to be all the rage in 2024 and I am here for it. I love these from Loeffler Randall ($295) or these splurge-worthy ones from Gianvito Rossi ($815).

• Everyone loves the pearl Jimmy Choo’s but I actually prefer these classic pumps with a hint of crystal. ($1,095)

• These kitten-heeled Manolo Blahniks are so classic and perfect for a courthouse wedding or European elopement. ($775)

• Looking for something blue? This pair from Rene Caovilla is stunning ($1,630)

• The satin bow heels from Mach & Mach are forever a favorite of mine ($844) and also come in a platform version ($1,040).

• These pearl slingbacks from Bella Belle are extremelyyyy comfortable ($375) and also come in a kitten heel version.

Second looks:

• You all know I love this Cher combo from Flora bride. ($2200 for set)

• I love this high-neck halter Sau Lee dress. Timeless but the low back gives it a bit of spice. ($295)

• This embellished midi is *chefs kiss* I love that it’s almost sheer and has gorgeous detailing. ($2,345)

• This mini dress from Staud looks like it will have a super flattering fit with just a touch of glam thanks to all the beading. ($995)

• The bell-like shape of this Sachin and Babi dress is so pretty and I love the floral details. ($795)

• It’s the bows on this off-the-shoulder mini for me. ($1,075)

• This sheer feather-trimmed mini dress feels retro yet chic. ($1,500)

• The idea of twirling in this fringe mini dress literally sparks joy. ($2,695)
